Writing can be hard when the topic is limited. Assignments have deadlines, word counts, and specific topics, making them challenging. When I’m writing, I can discuss a subject, make some great points, and use some diverse vocabulary, but it might not be the length required. Sometimes it doesn’t take 3 pages to say what needs to be said.
My theory of writing is that while genre and rhetoric situation are fixed understandings, audience is not. The audience could be anyone, anywhere.
